Hello I am Manushi Mathur (Noon). I am an independent illustrator, city planner and historian based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I was born in India and studied interior design and architecture in Germany and historic preservation at the University of Texas at Austin. I rediscovered my passion for illustration in 2017 and now work as an independent illustrator. I am deeply interested in illustrating children’s books.

I draw inspiration for my art from my love for history, people, architecture, food and the beauty of everyday. I was raised by strong Indian women and my dream is to illustrate books that celebrate diversity and feature strong female characters. I am an HBO Kindred's Mental Health Certified Communicator and meditator and have been actively advocating for community and mental health issues through my art.

I am represented by Caryn Wiseman at Andrea Brown Literary Agency.
